go to the blue panel, options/addons, and install tuxbox commander
go to plugins and start tuxboxcomander
browse to /var/etc/ and select the file ' passwd ' then press 4 on the remote control to go into edit mode
edit and delete the password in the first line root:***********
line1 should look like this :
root::0:0:root:/home/root:/bin/sh
now you can connect with root and leave password empty.
