2010 Hyundai Elantra
Overview
The 2010 Hyundai Elantra fits in the affordable small car class and is meant for those who want to get from point A to point B with ease and comfort. The Hyundai Elantra is a great choice for those who’d rather advertise their intelligence than their wallets. This isn’t to say that this vehicle isn’t as luxurious as it gets for its price range, but the longer you drive it the more you’ll love it.

Technology
Being green has become more than a personal choice but rather a societal requirement as our technology evolves. The 2010 Hyundai Elantra gets about 25 miles per gallon on the highway and it is government certified as an Ultra-Low-Emission Vehicle (ULEV). It’s even comparable to a hybrid in its cleanliness. The saying that the Hyundai Elantra is luxurious and classy may sound very immodest, that is until you browse the vehicles many standard features: remote keyless entry, tilt steering wheel, dual power heated side mirrors, power windows and door locks, and interestingly a driver seat with 6-way adjustment.

Performance
Everyone always wants the newest phone. The newest computer, or even the newest house. The same is for cars. The Hyundai Elantra brand has been around for a while but new for 2010 is an entry-level Elantra Blue sedan. There are also several trims that one can choose from. The Elantra Touring is a hatchback with 4-doors that is 2 inches longer in wheelbase but 1 inch shorter overall than its sedan counterpart. Previously the Elantra touring was only offered as a single model; howeer, now the Touring now comes in entry-level GLS and uplevel SE trims. For those who wish to have a little power, keep in mind that ALL Elantras use a 138-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 5-speed manual transmission is a standard on all the the Blue sedan as well as the Tourings. A r-speed automatic is optional on all the other models.

Exterior
The Hyundai Elantra is known for its clean sculpted styling and if you’re looking to get noticed this car will do the job. The sculpted exterior isn’t just for looks. The well0made exterior also happens to serve a very functional purpose. The Elantra achieves an exceedingly low .32 coefficient of friction or drag, the Hyundai Elantra’s body has a well-made aerodynamic which not only minimizes wind noise but improves fuel economy. Like all Hyundais, it’s a harmonious marriage of modern aesthetics and engineering. Hyundai achieves a balance between innovated engineering and cool aesthetics.

Interior
If you’re looking for a comfortable interior, look no further than the 2010 Hyundai Elantra. It boasts more room than most of the cars in its class, a comfortable rear seat and storage space to spare. If you’re someone who is considered tall and have had past cars that just don’t agree with your height the Hyundai Elantra just might be the car for you. The biggest selling point in terms of the interior is that this car possesses a factor rare to cars in its class. Most cars in its class have back seats that are, well, cramped. The Elantra has back seats that are even comfortable for adults. The dashboard is decorated with simple controls and easy-to-read gauges, nothing complicated. For those interested in trunk space, the vehicle hosts 14.2 cubic feet of trunk space, which is generous for the class.

Safety
The Elantra received 5 stars in government crash test ratings for driver and front passage protection. On the other hand, the car received a 4 star rating for a side-impact test. What’s also great about this cars safety is that it received a 4 star rating for rollover test. This means that the Hyundai Elantra only has a 10% chance of rollover which is rare for its small car category

Reliability
Hyundai offers one of the most lengthy basic warranties for the Elantra. 5 years or 60,000 miles. Furthermore, the Elantra’s powertrain warranty is good for 10 years or 100,00 miles. Talk about reliability.
